	Our first competition win PROUDLY SPONSORED BY AMH (Australian Meat Holdings) (Right to Left) Dawn Enkera (front), Carolyn McCaffery, Kyra Bridgeman, Jerry Novak, Dan 'Ned' Kelly, Dave Waiwiri and Paul Bridgeman (obscured). The Bracken Ridge Tug of War Team broke through for their first competition win with a lot of help from QUT-Norths Womens Rugby Union Team. The Tug of War Comp was at the Goodna Jacaranda Festival held on 31Oct 04 and was a mixed affair with a minimum of three women per team. All five competing teams gave all they could, with local teams giving a good account of themselves, but ultimately falling victim to the experience and staying power of the Bracken Ridge team. QUT-Norths rugby girls blended well with the Bracken Ridge men, with their combination of toughness, competetiveness and team spirit.
