A post mortem of the QLD Heavyweight C’ships at the Redcliffe Show is as follows
Our stamina and recovery are improving, a job well done by all !
Our footwork and technique seemed OK, with rope height pretty good.
Remember: Practice makes perfect! Use your training rope often!
Congratulations to 2/14 Light Horse Regt for their spectacular win
after recovering from a nervous start.
A special thanks to the Tenterfield (Rope Busters) boys for coming to
Redcliffe in numbers with ‘Mentions in Despatches’ to Brad (judging), Luke
(helping us out) and Mark (coaching us).By the way does anyone know where we can get a new rope (cheap).
As for Bracken Ridge TOW keep on the search for men and women tug
prospects. Start improving your general fitness, training will resume on
Sunday 03 Oct 04 at 09.50 hrs (don’t be
late!) at Taraubul Pk.
There could be a TOW Contest at Bli Bli Castle in NOVEMBER along the
same lines as Redcliffe Show. How do I
know? We have been asked to organize it!
Famous Quote; Even losers don’t like to lose, winners win because they
practice (Graham Egan c. 2004).
